Challenge #49

This is what I came up with for "Try Stampin on Tuesday" challenge this week.
I used red CS for the base, added some Stampin' Up DS paper with roses on it, a piece of pink ribbon with a string of clear pearls and stamped at the bottom the word love from the Stampin' Up set "Wonderful Words". The I stamped a heart from Craft Smart in Real Red. Added some red stickle dots to the top and bottom of the white piece. Last I added some roses I made.
Fun project!

Bird Mini Album

Front cover.
The big flower is one I entered in our local Fair last summer and won a blue ribbon. The red flower is another one I made. I added a heart chipboard piece. Lace at the bottom.
The saying is a combination of two stamp sets.
It reads: The language of Friendship is not words, but meanings. Henry David Thoreau and A friend is someone who strengthens you with prayers, blesses you with love; and encourages you with hope. Both Stampin' Up sets.

Most of the pages in this album a very simple. I added the black and white ribbon across the bottom to use as a pocket to slide the mat's underneath. Added a hand punched flower with a black brad in the center.
I used a piece of seam binding across the bottom so I could slide the mat's underneath.
I added a few handmade flowers. The birds eye is stickled with blue.

It is hard to see but this paper is very sparkly.
I added a strip of ribbon to use as a pocket.
A few flowers I made are added.

This paper was pretty, lots of foil.
I used a flower I made out of a cupcake paperand added a blue gem in the center.
Also are chipboard pieces that the tag slides under.

this paper was just too pretty to cover up. The bird cages are so shinny. I added a flower that I learned how to make on Tim Holtz blog, and added an antique button brad in the center.

Again this page is very simple. I added a chipboard piece to slide the mat under.

This page I kept very plain. I used a couple of chipboard pieces to slide the mat under.

I used some silver stickle for the birds eye.
This flower matched perfectly. It's one I had made quit a while back. I used silver stickles on all the edges of the flower.

On this one I used this large green flower I had made which I misted with glimmer mist so it is shinny. I wasn't sure if it matched the blue paper but I like it.

I used some blue stickles for the birds eye.
Added a piece of blue ribbon for a pocket to slide the mat's under.
I made these flowers a while back so thought I'd use them.

Challenge #48

I didn't know it would turn out this dark.
I used the stampin' Up set Wings of Friendship.
Stamped it in Versa Mark then used purple embossing powder.
